Hopped off the plane at LAX...

Well guys, we are moving to CALIFORNIA!!!  Just kidding.... although we would love to. :) We had sooo much fun in LA, and did not want to go home. :(

*sigh* so I guess I will tell you about our trip now. . .
We flew into LAX on Monday night around 5pm LA time. And let me just say, when vacationing traveling west where you gain 2 hours is so awesome! We kept waking up at 8:30am so we had the whole day to go do things! Because if you know me, you know I like to sleep in. :)
So on Tuesday we went to this awesome outdoor mall called the Americana. Basically it was like the best mall ever, only outside. With awesome Christmas lights everywhere, and waterfountains that were coordinated with the music. For those of you living in Texas, yes its like in the Woodlands only times 10! OH, and the American had the BEST crepes ever. And a fabulous cupcake shop called Crumbs, which I am so sad is not in Texas.

Bad Picture- but this was at the Americana

On Wednesday we went and bought a new camera! *everyone cheers* And then we went to Santa Monica.  Beautiful. Walked along the pier, bought some cotton candy, and went to a mexican restaurant. *Yum* And it was the first time for me to try coconut shrimp! Shocking, I know. Needless to say I am in loveeeeee! That and pina colodas. Don't worry mom, it was virgin. ;)
After walking on the pier and eating more food, we went and walked around another outdoor mall with more beautiful decorations and numerous people singing with their guitar. Some sounding more depressed than others, but its ok.
We then came upon this store that had an adorable pillow with a cross-stitched (or something like that) LA type scene, but it was sooo cute. Loved it. Went in to buy it... $150. Didn't buy it. haha

So Thursday... Happy Thanksgiving! We didn't eat a traditional turkey dinner, and I am missing it now, well ... my stomach is not but I am. :)
We went to Hollywood for Thanksgiving! So much fun, and not as crowded as probably the next day was. We saw Graumans Chinese Theater, all the Hollywood Stars, Rodeo Drive, and several famous peoples houses, including.... Bill Cosby, Selvester Stallone, Halley Barry, Christina Aguilera, Richard Simmons (hahaha) and the late Michael Jackson.
I wish Gene Kelly was still alive. He was great!

Friday, our last day. We cried. :( lol, just kidding. I cried Saturday. ;)
For our last day we got up early and went to the Warner Brothers VIP tour! It was sooo awesome! We got to go on the street sets where things were filmed like: Annie, Sex and the City Scenes, Friends Scenes, The famous Spiderman upside down kiss, and many others! We also got to see (for my Gilmore Girl fans) Lorelai's house, Sookie's house, Babett's house, and Luke's Diner! That was the most exciting part for me. :) Then we got to go onto the set of George Lopez, and Two And A Half Men!
After that we went to Downtown Disney and walked around. So much fun! We even had our caricature done. Cost us $50 and we tried to walk away, but that didnt work. lol. So now we own a $50 piece of paper with us cartoonized on it. :P I need to take a picture, I'll post it next blog. :)

But that's all for tonight. :) More to come.

602 Hours

Engagement Pictures: October 2010

In twenty-five days and 1 1/2 hours I will be marrying my best friend.  See that cute couple up there^^ yep, that's us!

On top of planning a wedding I am also busy making sure I get packed to move to Fort Worth. On the side of moving though its mostly busy making sure I spend time with all my friends and family here before I move. I don't think its quite hit yet that I will be moving four hours away from everything I have known for the past 3 years. I know four people in Fort Worth. . . Better than knowing zero when I moved to St. Louis though, or knowing only my family when I moved to Texas. :)

Everyone always asks me, are you nervous? Are you getting cold feet? The answers are no, and no. Sure I have had some nerves, but now that the wedding is getting closer I have gotten rid of those nerves and now it is just my impatience that I am dealing with. Saying goodbye to my fiance on the weekends is getting harder and harder. I find myself thinking in my head, this is ridiculous, lets just go to the courthouse and get married so I can be with you in Fort Worth. Sure we can still have the wedding! . . . Yet somehow I think a few people *cough parents cough*  would be slightly irritated. Now take slightly and multiply it by 1,000. Yeah, that's more like it. ;)

The wedding plans are coming along great. Yes there are a lot of little things that I need to do, but I know what they are and so it will all be ready. (Now everyone that see's my mom after reading this, give her a hug and tell her not to stress out because I've got it under control.)  I love her.  lol. However... going through lists of everything I have to do with her would make ME stress out, right now I am calm and checking things off my list and giving her things to do when she asks for them. :)

That's all for this blog I think. I always get bored reading peoples huge long blogs and tend to skim... which you might have already. *wink* So, I will save more thoughts for later. I hope everyone has a good rest of the week!
 Happy Hump Day!!
